This allows Phenix to build extremely light and sensitive rods. Phenix then utilizes a cross wrapped Carbon Tape to insure strength and proper flex. It also features a new Phenix Designed up locking reel seat. The Casting models feature a split trigger design with the durability and performance of a single piece reel seat. Slender High density EVA handles are comfortable for all day use. The New Maxim series of bass rods also feature SiC guides, unlike many others in this price point.
